Mr. Demel has over 15 years experience in innovative technology and a proven track record in strategic planning, partnering and execution of corporate e-commerce strategies.

An American citizen, Mr. Demel has acted as Vice President, eBusiness & Web Initiatives at RBC Capital Markets from 1997 to 2005 and more recently, as Head, Web Properties Solutions at Royal Bank of Canada. Prior to, he also held senior positions at Novell and UNIX System Laboratories.   

He holds a bachelor of Arts, and a double minor in computer science and audio production from Ithaca College in New York.
